Kerry Firsts

If John Kerry were to become the next U.S. president, several remarkable "firsts" would become reality:

First billionaire president: No other president in history comes close to the unimaginable wealth of John Kerry. A true man of the people. A regular working-class kinda guy. Mansions, vacation homes all over the world, Gulfstream jet, fleets of cars, original art masterpieces, etc. But this doesn't tell the whole story. How much is $1 billion? Well, here are a few companies that Kerry could purchase outright:

Enjoy golf? Mr. Kerry could purchase Callaway Golf outright($785 million). See a future in plastics? Kerry could seal the deal on Tupperware for $973 million. Craving a carb fix? Mr. Kerry could have the ultimate carb load by buying Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for a mere $649 million (and the leftover would still be more cash than the net worth of any previous president).

First president to admit to committing war crimes and atrocities while serving in the armed forces (MEET THE PRESS, April 18, 1971)

First president to meet with the enemy during a time of war

First president to be elected by the media. Here's Newsweek editor Evan Thomas back in August: "Let's talk a little media bias here," Thomas said, "The media, I think, want Kerry to win. And I think they're going to portray Kerry and Edwards -- I'm talking about the establishment media, not Fox -- but they're going to portray Kerry and Edwards as being young and dynamic and optimistic and all, there's going to be this glow about them that . . . collectively, the two of them, that's going to be worth maybe 15 points."

Now my observations: Where were the media on Kerry's phony claims about being in Cambodia? On his 1971 treasonous meetings with the enemy? On his decisions not to disclose where his campaign funding is coming from? Can you even imagine what the headlines would be if someone discovered that Bush secretly met with the enemy in 1971 while still a member of the National Guard?

Without the incredible, non-stop pro-Kerry bias of every major news organization Kerry would be looking at a crushing, George McGovern-style blowout.

First President to attend a meeting where assassination of congressmen was discussed and voted on. Originally denying he was there, Kerry admitted it when he was caught in a lie by witnesses who saw him there.

First president to actively hide the sources of his campaign funds. Take a look at the percent of full disclosure and see for yourself. Bush, 92.1%. Nader, 93.4%. Dean, 92.6%. Sharpton, 91.1%. Geez, even Lyndon LaRouche had full disclosure on 90.8% of his campaign funds. Kerry? 80.3%. That's $30 million in campaign funds that Kerry doesn't want to disclose the source of. What's he hiding?

And last but not least, first Communist first lady. OK, not officially, but the causes she actively supports look like a who's who of communist and socialist organizations. We're not talking Greenpeace or Save the Whales here. Millions of dollars in donations to the Tides Foundation? This alone gives her at least an honorary membership in the Communist Party.
